- A federal-state partnership program designed to enhance the capabilities of designated states and territories to conduct sustainable and nationally competitive energy-related research
- Calls for proposals are released annually and are coordinated at the state level by the WVU NRCCE Director’s Office with the West Virginia EPSCoR Office
- Past DOE EPSCoR programs include the Advanced Power and Electricity Research Center based in the Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources and the National Institute of Fuel Cell Technology also based in the Statler College
